KublioCode

Students build real-world 3D places and bring them to life with block coding, on laptops and tablets.

What Kublio does

Made for the classroom.

  • Build, then bring it to life

Students build interactive 3D worlds and bring them to life with block coding. Drag-together blocks make each world respond.

  • Hundreds of plant and animal species

The library holds hundreds of plants and animals. Each is built to a sourced measurement, not an artist's guess.

  • Laptop and tablet

Students build and code their worlds on laptops and tablets.

  • Build together

Children can build together in the same world.

  • Runs at school, even offline

Kublio runs on a school's own server and keeps working when the internet does not.

  • Private by design

There is no advertising, no tracking, and nothing is sold to anybody.

Space, with real gravity

Real science, running live.

Open the whole solar system and watch gravity drawn as a fabric, every planet denting it. Set the system moving through the galaxy and every orbit becomes a spiral. Then change gravity in code and test it.

Living worlds

A world comes alive when students code it.

Students place the animals, then decide what they do. Walk, wait, turn, hide in the mangrove roots. Every behaviour in their world is one they wrote.

Block coding

Bring every world to life.

Students drag blocks together to give their 3D worlds behaviour.

A saltwater crocodile in a creek beside a block script: when this is clicked, repeat, if the player is within 6 steps run away, else hop on the spot

For the classroom

Lesson material grounded in the world.

Lesson material includes space and the solar system, tides, the rock cycle, and first-contact history.

For teachers

See every child's work, and the evidence in it.

The class wall shows everyone's latest world on one screen. Open a hand-in and Kublio points to the code that shows each curriculum outcome, and marks which blocks a classmate helped with. You confirm what you agree with. Kublio never grades.

The library

Hundreds of plants and animals.

Every plant and animal is built to a sourced measurement rather than an artist's guess. Drop one into a world and it moves the way it should.

Real places, true scale

The same terrain a child can stand on.

Real places are built at true, one-to-one scale from drone survey.

Everything at true scale: a 290 metre ore carrier at anchor.
  1. 01

    Drone survey

The real place is surveyed from the air.

  2. 02

    True scale

The terrain is built at one-to-one scale.

  3. 03

    The same ground

A child can stand on the terrain in the world.

  4. 04

    Build and code

Students add to the place with block coding.

Place packs are made with the communities whose country they represent, and never without them.
